Hear grown men and women confront their past with tales of their first kiss, first puff, worst prom, fights with mom, life at bible camp, worst hand job, best mall job, and reasons they deserved to marry Jon Bon Jovi.

Submission FAQ
We are looking for any kind of recorded ephemera you made (wrote, typed, recorded, etc.) before the age of 20. In the past we have worked with: journals, diaries, school assignments, letters, songs/poems, creative writing, zines, yearbooks, home videos, online diaries, blogs, audio/video footage, and artwork. Basically anything that you created that you held on to that was made by or features you!
No experience needed! We are looking for ordinary folks to join us onstage, and our story producers will work with you to prepare you for the experience.
Once you have located your materials, you can fill out the submission form at the bottom of this page. Or you can submit at www.getmortified.com/participate.
We have a rolling deadline throughout the year, so you are welcome to submit at any time and we will determine the best show for you based on your availability.
We will reach out to you after you submit your materials to set up a time to meet and discuss what materials you have in your possession. You will then have plenty of time to work with one of our story producers before you ever get on stage.
We will never push you to perform anything that you are not comfortable with, and we will never put you on stage if you are not ready and excited to perform. We want the experience to be satisfying and fun for everyone involved!
