Hooray! We are so happy you are interested in our Grown-up Book Fair. Currently, we are taking inquires from non-profit organizations that are looking to host a School-Tastic Grown-up Book in their town. If you work for a non-profit, please use the form below.
Currently, we are only taking submissions from non-profits or corporations that want to sponsor a fair. We are working on a way to expand this beyond businesses, so please check back.
The cost will vary, but plan to invest at least $5,000-$10,000 dollars. You will also need a knowledgable staff to plan and run the event. Be advised that it can also be very time consuming.
No, our the trademark is in progress. Our logo, name, brand and other elements cannot be used unless authorized. However, if you understand the cost and time involved, and are still interested, feel free to contact us.

Our Mission
Our mission is to buld a community connected by the songs that shaped us, by bravely sharing those songs and the stories that gave them meaning.
karaoke isn’t about having the best voice, it’s about having the most heart. and now you can share the full story behind the song.
The rules are simple:

submit a song that is especially important to you.

prepare a 3-5 minute story about why the song you chose is important to you.

sing the hell out of that song, with or without the crowd!
Humans are natural storytellers, and we create our reality and shape our past through the stories we tell one another.

music, meanwhile, is a universal connector that evokes emotions and memories and has the power to transport us to other times and places. Songs have their own stories and also help us tell our own.
at story-oke, we want to create a space for everyone to share their stories through the songs that shaped them.

Submission FAQ
Everyone who identifies as part of the queer community! We know that everyone has had unique experiences being queer and we want to hear ALL of them on our stage.
You do not need previous public speaking experience or need to compare yourself to any of the other presenters. We believe that everyone’s stories deserve to be heard, and we want to hear yours!
We would love for you to submit all of your movie ideas that match any one or more of our themes! Then we’ll contact you when one of your suggestions match up with our themes.
We will reach out to you by email approximately one month prior to each show date if we would like to include your movie selection in the mix (based on what other submissions we receive) and in order to confirm that you’re still available for that show’s date.
There is not a deadline for the year. We only ask that you submit movie ideas at least a month prior to each upcoming show so that we have time to plan ahead for the next show.
